The new Kindergarten Kunterbunt provides social and educational opportunities for 130 children between one and seven years of age.

30 "daycare" children between the ages of one and three occupy the south wing of the new facility, and 100 children between the ages of four and seven will be taught and cared for in four double-height group rooms to the north of the triangular site.

Between these two wings, one finds the heart of the project, a large multi-purpose gymnastics room and Children's Bistro.

The building extends the entire length and breadth of the site, and divides the outdoor space into areas for athletic activities, concentrated play, scientific investigation, and quiet recreation. The site for this project is directly adjacent from a medieval fortified wall, including two of the original seven defense towers that protected the village. A knight's residence, constructed in 1544, completes the ensemble.
